In "Na Zadkach" locality se there is situated natural reservation Bukovec (public notice ONV Frýdek-Místek 20. 1. 1988). it spreads out the left side of the creek Olecka. It is a peat meadow where precious plants from the orchid family are growing – gnat-flowers. Its preserving is conditioned on the human treatment – regular cutting and tree seeding dispatch is necessary.

There is a little regional museum of Karol Piegza in a polish school house, were cuttings, pictures, daily use items, needlework and folk costume pieces, which are documenting the history and local highlanders´ lives, are stored.
The church of the coming up to heaven of Virgin Maria dated back to the 1930s.


A rough elm (mountainy) - Ulmus scabra (montana): The protected tree is growing on the plot number 1350 in Bukovec. It is the highest elm in our republic, it’s about 360 years old . Its stem perimeter (1,3 m above the ground level) is 685 cm, its diameter is 218 cm, the height of the tree is 38 m, its tree-top width 28,5 m, tree-top height 36 m. The protected area is of a circle shape with 21,8 m in radius. A Bukovec, sur le terrain du numéro 1350, s’élève un arbre (Orme) protégé. Il s’agit de l’orme le plus grand de notre république. Son âge est d’environ 360 ans. La circonférence du tronc (à la hauteur de 1,3 m de la terre) est de 685 cm ; le diamètre du tronc est de 218 cm et la hauteur de l’arbre est de 38 m. La largeur du feuillage est de 28,5 m et sa hauteur est de 36 m. La zone de protection s’étend sur un rayon de 21,8 m.
